Emergency Relief Distribution mudslides victims
Last year disasters affected directly the communities we are working with heavily Providing relief to the families affected by mudslides in kasika Rukoki subcounty Kases was much more challenging, During the distribution day, we realized that the number of victims that needed support were much more then the relief we had.

The magnitude of the mudslide killed over 10 people injured bigger number of people
The escalating catastrophic event that happened also resulted from human attack on hilly surface for agricultural. This paved way for running waters to collect and form a pool which busted and joined other running gullies that eventually swept off many home steads in Kasika.
With support from our partner FCDE we were able to support over 30 household we quick releif needed to people displaced by the Mudslides.
Children, women and the elderly were the most affected people in the community

Throughtout the two years of pandemic communities exprienced a very difficult time and with our partners we were able to support families with basic materals needed in their homes including food reliefs
